2001 Detroit Auto Show

Meet the next-generation Integra. Sure, Acura presented the RS-X as a "clear indication of the direction we are headed." But the blue coupe was a very finished piece. Beyond advancement in refinement and torsional rigidity, the real excitement with the RS-X is the 2.0-liter i-VTEC DOHC engine touting approximately 200 horsepower matched with a six-speed transmission. Other features on the show car include cross-drilled disc brakes, 18-inch wheels, Recaro sport seats, and audio system with six-disc in-dash CD changer backed by a trunk-mounted subwoofer.
