Drawing its inspiration from the 1950s sports cars produced by Briggs Cunningham II, the Cunningham Motor Company (CMC) will produce a V-12-powered, limited-production, grand tourer dubbed C7. The 2+2 coupe is expected to have more than 500 horsepower from an American-sourced engine and carry a price tag exceeding $250,000. Self-described as a "virtual" car company, CMC will outsource the bulk of development and research to minimize cost. Lead by auto legend Bob Lutz, the Cunningham family, and auto exec John McCormack, CMC will be a company to watch.
