Hyundai showed its latest take on the rally-inspired, two-door crossover segment that has become an auto show staple this past year. A 2+2 coupe, the four-wheel-drive Clix combines elements of a car, pickup, and SUV in a single vehicle. Conceived as "fun activity vehicle," the Clix is a vision of a vehicle that could be a weekday commuter and convert for weekend recreation. The transformation comes from a massive motorized top that can be opened in various stages, ranging from basic sunroof tilt to full-blown convertible. Fold the seat down and voila!, instant pickup. Ensuring driving fun is a direct-injection 2.2-liter four-cylinder pumping out a World Rally worthy 300 horsepower. Based on a new, sub-Accent platform, Hyundai hopes this concept clicks with Gen X and Y.
