The new Spyder is powered by a Ferrari-designed 390-hp/4.2-liter V-8, and promises a top speed upwards of 175 mph; power reaches the wheels through either a manual shifter or Formula-One-style six-speed steering-wheel paddle shifter. A popular feature is the Maserati Info Centre, which controls the trip computer, climate controls, and stereo functions via a 5.8-inch color display panel. Additional equipment includes 18-inch wheels, rear parking sensor, power seats with memory, and side airbags. Expect to spend $100,000 to have one of your own.
