Citroen's concept C-Crosser is designed to illustrate how a future "leisure vehicle" (aka SUV) might look. It's focused on versatility and functionality, with an unusual 3+3 seating arrangement that allows the driver to sit in either the right, center, or left position of the front row. The driver's module uses an advanced drive-by-wire technology so that all driving commands (engine, steering, and braking) are grouped on the slideable steering wheel, completely opening up the footwell. A hydraulic suspension system adapts the height of the vehicle from 5.5 to about 8 inches to best suit its speed and the state of the road. Electronic brakes and four-wheel steering round out the concept package.
