Updating its near-lux sedan, Mitsubishi applied a European-inspired design treatment that indicates future vehicle appearance. Up front, a contoured hood wraps down into the front fascia. At the rear, the 2002 model is distinguished by a new decklid with a chrome license plate accent and restyled taillamps. The Diamante offers a host of convenience features, including automatic climate control, 210-watt/eight-speaker audio system, keyless entry, and numerous power amenities.
