2001 New York Auto Show


Mitsubishi has redesigned its aging four-door Mirage from the tires up, and has even given it the international name for the U.S. market: Lancer. The 2002 Lancer is scheduled to arrive in August featuring a standard 2.0-liter/126-horsepower DOHC engine, roomier interior, and improved ride and handling. Packaged in three editions -- standard ES, luxo LS, and sporty OZ Rally -- the price will range from about $14,000 to $18,000.
