2001 Tokyo Motor Show

Crafting a mobile recreation center, Isuzu has transformed a commercial delivery truck into a hip show vehicle. Looking at ways that panel trucks can be better used by business to showcase their wares and services, and perhaps even appeal to private customers with large cargo needs, Isuzu teamed with outdoor goods company "mont-bell." With massive display windows, the FunkyBox displays a variety of kayaking gear. Other suggested, even fanciful, applications include a portable performance stage, mobile telescope observatory, or rolling art gallery. We would add a motorsports memorabilia concession stand to the list. With this concept, Isuzu asks, "What would you do with a FunkyBox?"
