With four decades of Super Sport heritage under its belt, Chevrolet is bringing great performance and design back to its lineup with a new Impala SS, set to debut this summer. Under its sheetmetal is a supercharged, 3.8-liter/240-horsepower V-6 along with a beefed-up four-wheel independent suspension and high-performance speed-rated tires encircling 17-inch diamond-cut cast-aluminum wheels. Chevy promises the Impala SS will returntrue to its legacy as a fun-to-drive midsize sport sedan that provides performance for enthusiasts with room for five, plenty of cargo space, five-star safety, and plenty of amenities.
