2003 Chicago Auto Show

Chevrolet's mission remains unchanged: offer an affordable, midsize alternative to import sedans. Built on GM's new Epsilon platform (shared with Saab 9-3), the all-new Chevy Malibu makes significant advances over the current model with bold styling, increased creature comforts, and additional refinement. To appeal to consumers of all sizes, the Malibu driver's seat configuration allows flexible adjustments to seat height, steering wheel tilt/telescope, and pedal placement. The five-seat midsize sedan will be offered in three trim levels, with both cloth and leather interiors. Powertrains include a choice between a 2.2-liter/140-horsepower I-4 or a 3.4-liter/200-horsepower V-6 engines. Produced in Kansas, this American sedan will go on sale third quarter 2003.
