2003 Frankfurt Motor Show Coverage
That the C-Airlounge scores a wind-cheating 0.26 drag coefficient does not seem like justification enough for this rolling egg homage. However, beneath the smooth, scarab-esque exterior is a practically sized passenger space that explores interior design through modular seating. Configurable for four or five passengers, the C-Airlounge can also adapt to the occupants' mood through fiber-optic lighting and video projectors in the carpet and armrests (click image to see). Because the black show vehicle was parked in a darkened enclosure to show off the wild light show, we must turn to the manufacturer photo on this one. This fantasy Parisian limo may be one more reason not to visit France. Vive la resistance!
