The elegant 166 sedan made its world debut in Frankfurt giving the Americans more reason to anticipate this storied Italian marque's return to the States later this decade. The interior continues the body's clean lines and design restraint, with the cockpit being tastefully driver oriented. The sedan range is made up of three comprehensive packages: Impression, Progression, and Distinctive. Six engines are offered, with two turbodiesels and four gasoline powerplants offering up to a 240-hp V-6. Available features on this Alfa flagship include ABS with electronic brakeforce distributor, vehicle dynamic control, side airbags, window airbags, automatic climate control, bi-xenon headlights, parking sensor; 10-speaker audio system, and navigation system.
