2003 Frankfurt Motor Show Coverage


For the first time, American enthusiasts will be able to purchase a 911 GT3 -- a special street-legal race car with manners refined enough for real-world driving. Modifications throughout, from lightweight engine internals to fortified brakes, enable the 911 GT3 to push the envelope for naturally aspirated Porsche performance. But there's an even more special 911, the GT3 RS. Built to commemorate the model's 40th anniversary, this immediately recognizable car is dressed in classic white body with blue or red stripes. Priced at just over $100,000 Euros, this modern classic will not be offered in North America.
