2003 Tokyo Motor Show
Toyota's Crown concept's spacious luxury contrasts sharply with the sea of minicar designs we've seen at Tokyo, boasting a voluminous cabin that carries driver and passengers in tasteful luxury and amenities. Underhood, Toyota's dynamic new 3.3-liter V-6 D-4 engine mates with a six-speed automatic transmission to deliver a world-class combination of dynamic power and outstanding fuel economy. Additional emphasis is on safety, with vehicle movement controls that interact with pre-crash safety systems, radar cruise control, lane-keeping assistance functions, adaptive front lighting, and structural optimization for superior collision safety and minimized pedestrian injury.
