A six-speed direct-selection gearbox puts the driver in command, racing to the car's nongoverned167 mph top speed. For clever show-car features, the Concept R has adjustable springs...in the seats. Measuring 164 inches, the two-seat Concept R is approximately the same length as a three-door Golf.
