We never expected to use the words "cool" and "Aveo" in the same sentence, but Chevrolet impressed with a cool Aveo project car that looks equal parts "Fast and the Furious" and Renault R5 Turbo. The Daewoo-sourced five-door has been transmogrified with complete wide-body kit, featuring new fascia, fender flares, rear fascia, rocker moldings, custom lamps, roof-mounted wing, body-colored badging, and Sparco locking gas cap. The suspension was lowered two inches, then each corner was fit with Kineses K58 two-piece 18x-8-inch wheels wearing Toyo Proxes 4 P215/35ZR18 tires. The interior features Spaco EVO body-hugging seats front and rear, Sparco Mugello steering wheel, aluminum pedals, and full-length console with integrated Sony PlayStation 2. With just the stock 1.6-liter inline-four underhood, the car's thunder comes from aPioneer AVHP 6500 AM/FM stereo that also includes CD, DVD, and MP3 playback, along with XM Satellite Radio and a 7-inch touch screen.
