2003 Geneva Motor Show
If Maserati can give its interpretation of an SUV, why not Alfa Romeo? With the Kamal, Alfa has taken a stab, and with the Kamal offers a six-speed, 250-horsepower, 24-valve V-6 SUV that's sure to get any Alfa fanatic's blood boiling. While the look is "all terrain" it's still an Alfa, absent far too long from the US market (although rumors abound that it's about to return). The Kamal gives force to Alfa's concept of "elegant sportiness" attempting to mate elements of an SUV and a European MPV with a sports car; the result is a concept that covers new ground, and probably one that could find a home on this side of the Atlantic.
