Oh, no! Not another 'Ferrari Red' Italian supercar... That's what we thought until we got up close and personal with the Fioravanti F100. The design goal was to reduce the tiresome air turbulence found in most high-performance open cars. To solve this problem, Fioravanti designers developed an innovative multispherical-type windscreen, using aerodynamics that guide air flow to the rear of the vehicle, thus shielding the heads of the passengers. Besides fulfilling this aerodynamic function, the streamlined hull behind the passengers serves as a roll-bar and incorporates engine air-vents and helmet storage. A perforated depression zone ultimately releases the displaced air from the bonnet.
