The Aston Martin AMV8 Vantage is the near-final form of a smaller Aston Martin model, due to be launched in 2005, giving Aston Martin a three-model line-up. The AMV8 Vantage is a two-seater sports car that retains a classic front mid-engine/rear-wheel drive layout and while it bears a passing resemblance to the two current models, the DB7 and Vanquish, it is the design effort Henrik Fisker, Aston Martin's Design Director. The design of the cabin has been focused to ensure that everything the driver and passenger touch is of the highest quality and doesn't appear as if shared with other PAG vehicles. The all-new engine is a 4.3-liter, all-alloy V8 unique to Aston Martin. This new V8 will use the latest technology to deliver outstanding performance in all environments.
