The Pathfinder grows for the 2005 model year, finding a more comfortable position in a crowded showroom that also houses the Murano, Pathfinder Armada, and Xterra. Sharing more than its name with the mighty Armada, the new Pathfinder shares design language and less obvious key architecture, including frame and suspension. By growing in size, the Pathfinder now accommodates three seating rows for a seven-passenger total capacity. These riders are protected with three-point belts for all positions, with available side airbags and roof-mounted supplemental curtain air bags. The Pathfinder is fitted with a 4.0-liter/250-plus-hp V-6 and five-speed automatic transmission, with 2WD and 4WD configurations available. A Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) system is also offered, along with an advanced off-road traction system. Click here to watch the Nissan Video.
