Dodge's projectile weapon to fend off the growing number of compact hatch concepts is the Sling Shot, a design that shows both Viper and Japanese influences. Intended to be fun, sporty, and affordable, the Sling Shot is powered by a 100-hp three-cylinder engine good for 10-second 0-60 mph times and 45 mpg. The light car rides on a four-wheel independent suspension, with disc brakes at each corner. For open-air entertainment, the roof panel removes, making the car look even more sharp. The interior features the clean design exhibited in the latest Chrysler concepts, with prominent circular shapes and machined contact points, like door handles and shifter. We'd like this concept even more if it returns featuring the Neon SRT-4's powertrain.
