2004 Geneva Motor Show
Built of a three-part carbon body structure (hood, passenger compartment, and engine) resting on a tubular chassis, Peugeot's 407 Silhouette concept is streamlined for the daredevil rider, endowed with aerodynamics designed for an intense driving experience. It's powered by a V-6 engine that promises more than 300 horsepower, mounted in the rear central longitudinal position and linked to a six-speed sequential shifter. The Silhouette's sporty interior is highlighted by red and black leather, and features a steering wheel that houses a color screen that displays temperature and satellite navigation system. The exterior is finished in metallic light gray paint, and wears a lion's head on each fender to remind of Peugeot's history.
