2005 SEMA Auto Show

The Solstice would make a fine weekend cruiser, but to become a racer at track events, some things have to change. For starters, it needs a hard top. The Weekend Club Racer showcases one way a Solstice could be configured for the track, without too many upgrades. Other than the removable hard top, which would make the car eligible for many race classes that a convertible can't enter, the car uses a 325-horsepower turbocharged engine, larger rear wing, T-2 race suspension, performance brakes, cat-back exhaust, and racing seats. It was also given custom bronze paint.
