Event Coverage: International Truck Engine Team Building and Customer Appreciation Event


International Truck and Engine Corporation, a Navistar company (Other OTC: NAVZ), recently hosted a group of International representatives, dealers and customers from Mexico for a team building and customer appreciation event at its engine plant in Huntsville, Ala., August 9 -11, 2007.

The event began Thursday, August 9, with a plant tour at International Diesel of Alabama, which manufactures the MaxxForce 5 and MaxxForce 7 diesel engines, and concluded on Saturday with a trip to Nashville Superspeedway to watch David Starr, driver of the #10 MaxxForce International Diesel Power truck, race. As a show of appreciation to the group from Mexico, the truck featured a special decal, the Mexican flag and a greeting in Spanish, for the race. The #10 MaxxForce International Diesel Power truck team took 4th in the race, their best finish of the 2007 season.
