Mopar Alley is the main walkway that connects the central hall to the south hall at the SEMA show. Hundreds of spectators herd their way down this covered path daily or, as in my case, once every hour or so. Chrysler's Mopar Alley and Mopar Under Ground showcases many vehicles from the past, which are the stepping-stones for the vehicles of today along with custom creations that currently run on the roads.
1946 Dodge Power Wagon Rugged Wrecker
1964 Dodge Custom Sport Special
This Custom Sport pickup is one of only 50 vehicles authorized to be built with the top-dog 426cid Street Wedge V-8 motor. Chrysler claims this truck was never a cargo hauler but most likely a dragstrip queen back in its heyday.
1979 Dodge Lil red Express Truck
This LIL red Express pickup was available only in on color, Medium Canyon Red and for only two years, 1978-1979. It was also the fastest production vehicle made in America that year with a 5.9L overhead-valve V-8 engine.
1986 Dodge Ram BAJA
1989 Jeep Cherokee Sport
This restoration project took three years to complete. The Jeep is used mainly for trail riding with an 8.0-in. lift with a Warn hub conversion, 305/70/17 Goodyear Wrangler tires with MT/R on 17x9 Procomp forged-alloy wheels. This rig sees more dirt roads than paved ones.
