The mercury rose across Southern California breaking heat records as thousands of Blue Oval fans took part in the 24th Annual Fabulous Fords Forever car and truck show Sunday, April 19. This year's event highlighted several anniversary milestones such as the 45th Anniversary of the Mustang, 70th Anniversary of Mercury, 50th Anniversary of the Galaxie, and the BOSS Mustang Reunion that was held at the famous Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park.
The Mustangs overtook the parking lot, but the trucks stole show as hundreds of original and custom Ford Broncos and their owners created a campground of big rubber and sheetmetal. Lawn chairs and coolers sat behind nearly every rig, and no two Broncos looked alike.

Everything was on display from barnyard F-100s, Mercury hybrids, Econo-vans, Rancheros, and the Model-T, the vehicle that started the brand. As we walked around the sea of pony badges, we spotted a couple of matching pickups. These two trucks are no stranger to Truck Trend. The 2009 Ford F-150 Striker R SuperCrew & 2008 Ford F-350 Crew Cab Dually were first seen last year at SEMA. We also spotted the 2009 Ford F-150 Fahrenheit FX-4 built by X-Treme Toyz, which made its debut at the same show.
Ford also had the next-generation 2010 Mustang and all-new Lincoln MKT on display at the Ford while Chip Foose was on site signing autographs for those who braved the long lines in the heat.
