2007 SEMA Auto Show!

Jeep Wrangler 'Warrior' Project Vehicle

Mopar announced that it has joined with West Monroe, La.-based Superlift Suspension Systems to unveil the Jeep Wrangler 'Warrior' Fundraiser Project Vehicle at the 2007 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show. The annual showcase of technology, trends and products representing the $36.7 billion automotive parts and accessories industry, the SEMA show will be held Oct. 30 - Nov. 2 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

A $25 tax-deductible donation provides a chance to win the Wrangler 'Warrior.' Total sweepstakes ticket proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), a non-profit organization that assists severely injured veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. The sweepstakes is expected to raise between $500,000 and $1 million for WWP.

Chrysler LLC provided the Wrangler to Superlift as a project vehicle for Camp Jeep. Superlift in turn donated the vehicle to the 'Help a Hero, Win a Jeep' Sweepstakes project build. After being displayed in the Mopar booth (#42427) located in the lower South Hall, Superlift will tour the Wrangler 'Warrior' at more than 20 national events throughout 2008.

Bret Lovett, owner of Superlift Suspension Systems, said, "WWP is a great cause to contribute to. It raises awareness and enlists aid for the needs of our injured service men and women."

Mopar, Chrysler LLC's original equipment parts manufacturer, supplied a 6.1-liter HEMI crate motor and the Wrangler's upgraded transmission to the fundraiser project vehicle. Mopar also provided off-road bumpers, a Warn 9500XP winch, tow bar mounting tabs, tow hooks, skid plates, chrome grille, exterior mirrors, taillamp guards, rock rails, a navigation unit and more.

Jon Clark, Mopar Performance Parts Manager - Chrysler LLC, added, "Mopar is privileged to be a part of the Jeep Wrangler 'Warrior' fundraiser project. We support the work of Superlift that will benefit such a worthwhile cause as the Wounded Warrior Project."

Other contributors to the Wrangler 'Warrior' project vehicle include: Burnsville Off-Road, Hotwire Auto, Street & Performance, Dynatrac, Detroit Locker, Advance Adapters, Tom Woods, Rockrunner Suspension System, Interco, Walker Evans Racing, Joey Hutson Artistry, DuPont, American Expedition Vehicles, Bushwhacker, Katzkin, Hi-Lift and Powertank.

The finished Wrangler 'Warrior' will be worth approximately $80,000. The sweepstakes winner will be drawn on in November 2008. A donation is not required to enter.

Official rules and sweepstakes tickets are available at www.warriorjeep.org, and will also be available at each 2008 national tour event. More information on WWP is available at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
