2008 North American International Auto Show
2009 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid Cadillac announced the world premiere of the Escalade Hybrid in November around the time Chevy debuted the Tahoe at the 2007 Los Angeles auto show. It's powered by a 2-Mode Hybrid system and will deliver more than a 50-percent improvement in fuel economy in city driving. The Escalade Hybrid will be available in 2WD with 6000 pounds of useable towing capacity or the 4WD with 5700 pounds. The Escalade Hybrid is the first full-size luxury SUV on the market and will be on sale summer 2008. The Hybrid model will be available only in the standard Escalade body style.
