Marking its 20th show, California Truck Jam Plus opened its doors to show off some of the hottest custom trucks, SUVs, classics, and bikes at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, California, July 29, 2007. We've covered Truck Jam in the past and this had to be one of the best shows to date in celebrating the milestone among fellow custom builders of a different nature.

Although temperatures reached into the high 80s it felt like it topped 100. Spectators were entertained with hop-off contests, street bike stunt drivers, and "Shocker" the Monster Truck as he trampled over cars. Many visited the show's famous ice-cream truck for a big stick or cookie sandwich to beat the heat.

A row of classic Volkswagen Bugs was in perfect formation to open the journey through rows of slammed mini-trucks and lifted full-sizes. Shaved handles, suicide doors, relocated gas tanks, body drops, custom lifts, primes, and pinstripes were just some of the popular custom touches added to these vehicles to make them stand out and to make them custom. Every truck had its own unique style and almost every SUV had lambo doors.

The mix of truck and cars goes to show that it's not about what you drive, it's about the passion that drives you to customize what you have. The people behind Truck Jam have once again hosted an event for all to enjoy and show off California's hottest rides.
