2020 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X 3.8L First Drive
While it might not be the all-new refresh we’ve been anticipating, the 2020 Nissan Frontier is a nice update and preview for what’s to come. As a one-year-only stopgap, it represents the future while giving people one last reason to shop the Frontier before the new truck comes a year from now. Overall, the ’20

How to Install a Jeep Wrangler JL Tailgate Table
One of the most underrated modifications for any Jeep Wrangler is the addition of a tailgate table. From holding sandwiches and cooking gear to protecting the tailgate from errant cargo on the trail, tailgate tables add a lot of utility to your Jeep. One of our favorite tailgate tables is the Outback Adventures Trailgater. We’ve

How To Quiet Down Your Wrangler JL Interior
As most of us know, Wranglers are not the world’s quietest vehicles to ride in, despite being impressively civilized these days. And while most of us would gladly take the tradeoff of increased sound levels for the experience Wranglers can give us on the trail, nobody is going to say no to a quieter interior.

What Is A Pickup Truck?
Figuring out what makes a pickup truck these days is only getting harder. Is it enough to have an open bed? If you are looking at the market from the perspective of a truck person, we’d emphatically answer “no.” For example, I’m not sure any of us would consider the unibody and car-based Honda Ridgeline

2019 Ram 1500 Rebel 12: Life With Advanced Tech And Useful Features
It has been an interesting last few months without our normal cadence of travel, so you might notice that we haven’t rolled on quite as many miles as you might be accustomed to seeing, and lots of shorter trips have skewed the fuel economy numbers down during this quarter. That being said, we thought we’d

2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave First Drive
When Jeep launched the Gladiator for 2020, it hit the market with all standard Jeep offerings: Sport, Overland (analogous to Sahara on Wrangler), and the Rubicon. However, there was a hole in the lineup, and we knew it wouldn’t be long before Jeep jumped into the field of performance midsize pickup with a variant aimed

AEV Prospector XL First Drive Review
The first thing you think of when you see American Expedition Vehicle’s Prospector XL is that it is a life-sized version of a favorite toy truck from your childhood. There is something about the proportions that are so out of whack that you can’t even believe it’s real, or even street legal for that matter.

2020 Nissan Titan XD First Drive Review
When Nissan launched the not-quite-HD XD in 2016, the company thought it had the right solution, a tweener of trucks that would hit the sweet spot of more-than-a-half-ton but stay clear of the true ¾-ton class. With three cab configurations, two bed lengths, and even an optional Cummins 5.0L turbodiesel V-8 engine, not everyone understood

2020 Nissan Titan PRO-4X First Drive Review
As the cover came of the 2020 Nissan Titan, our first thought was that this should have been the truck that debuted in 2017. With refreshed and emboldened styling, no one can call the Titan derivative anymore. Clearly staking out its corner with a look that is unique to Nissan, the Titan finally stands out

The original Ram Rebel was born from a corporate exercise to determine what a light-duty Power Wagon might look like. The first generation was good, but there was always room for improvement. First Look – 2020 Land Rover Defender
Let’s start by addressing the elephant in the room and be honest about what the 2020 Land Rover Defender is and what it isn’t. It isn’t an evolutionary step in the Defender lineage, it isn’t retro, and it isn’t an agricultural and military implement updated enough to achieve cult status within the consumer market. What
