GM has plans to double production of OnStar-equipped vehicles, producing 3 million in 2006.
Mercury has priced its new Mariner small SUV to start at $21,995.
By the end of the decade, GM will have 50 new powertrain variants, including a new turbo V-6, FWD V-8, and compact six-speed transmissions.
Huntington Beach, California, known around the world as "Surf City," recently inked a deal for Nissan to become the Official Beach Vehicle for Huntington Beach Lifeguards. The deal provides the City of Huntington Beach with a mix of 17 Nissan trucks and SUVs and is expected to last through 2006.
