1998 Dodge Dakota RT - Tiny Truck
Big dreams have turned this daily Dakota into a trophy truck
Matthew Tipton of Joliet, Illinois, goes by the nickname Tiny, but his street-driven 1998 Dodge Dakota R/T was no small project. To get the special look he wanted, Tiny started with the big job of having ghost flames layered on the hood and doors.
The folks at Ludtke Painting and Collision were able to bring Tiny's dream to life with multiple layers that intertwine silver and purple shades to match the rest of the truck.
The purple theme is continued inside the cab with custom leather seats and door panel inserts, along with wood grain pieces and flames in the instrument cluster.
Under the functional Proglass ram air hood, you will find a 325 h.p. 5.9L V8 with color-matched Mopar performance parts that is attached to a slushbox designed by Kittles Transmission and 3.92 rear differential.
Rounding out the exterior are blackout lights, monochrome grille inserts, a set of chrome rims and a bed cover with a spoiler that includes a custom Ram logo by Dan Tomcyzk.
With all of these features, it's no wonder that Tiny's daily driver keeps coming home with trophies.
