We hear the talk: "Flames, Flames, Flames. What's the big deal?" Put simply, we can't help appreciating and loving the look of masterfully laid flame licks on a custom truck. Apologies? Not from this crew. Flames as a whole will never be out of style. We agree not every artist can pull off such an admirable task. Just like anything else, those who got it, got it, and the wannabes just don't understand the work involved in this art.
Originating back in the early '30s on race cars, flames were a symbol of individuality, performance, and rebellion-the exact sentiments that echo on today's trucks and cars. Early masters such as Watson, Jeffries, Otis, Barris, and Von Dutch have inspired the latest crop of flame masters from coast to coast. Recent technological advancements allow an artist's creativity to reach new heights and also bring the level of quality to phenomenal levels.
Check out the variations available, and also take a look at the costs. After all, flames are not cheap; there is a good reason why good flames take time to master.
