Tacoma LoveJeff Yenzer of Bellevue, Nebraska, is proud of his '04 Toyota Tacoma. After finishing work on his old truck, he felt inspired to keep on going with a new project. He installed a 7th Injection kit and gave the truck 18-inch American Racing wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber. Future plans include giving the interior a new look and installing an entertainment system.
DistantDavid Merrill of Muskogee, Oklahoma, drives this '01 Chevy Silverado daily. The truck has a 5.3L engine and 20-inch Diamo wheels. A dual Flowmaster exhaust with a K&N air filter was installed for more power.
SpinningPaul Nicholson of Sunderland, Maryland, is the owner of this '02 Chevy Silverado. The truck rides on 20-inch wheels and has a new paintjob along with a sick new interior.
Jersey PrizeThis '03 GMC Sierra Denali rides around the city of Matawan, New Jersey, on 20-inch American wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber. Its owner, Michael Alamorian, has given the stock truck a few upgrades. He started by giving it a K&N 77-series polished filter with a Corsa after-cat exhaust. To change the stock interior, a Crystal X brushed-aluminum dash kit was installed.
SuicideProud owner Tony Relleno of Mesa, Arizona, has upgraded his '05 Escalade EXT V-8. The truck has Akoustik subs in the bed, a vertical door kit, dual alternators, Optima YellowTops, a new intake, a performance chip, and 26-inch Everhart wheels wrapped in Kumho rubber.
GloomBrandon Esparza of Mesa, Arizona, owns this '85 Chevy Silverado. The truck has a 350ci crate engine with an Edlebrock performer 670-cfm carburetor and manifold. A Flowmaster dual exhaust, a shift kit, 18-inch wheels, and a flush tonneau cover were also installed.
Show-OffThis '92 Chevy Silverado shows off daily with its driver James Smith of Covington, Georgia, behind the wheel. Twenty-inch Budnik Pentacles wrapped in Falken rubber were added. James shaved the tailgate, the stake pockets, the third brake light, molded on a Sir Michaels roll pan, and painted his ride PPG Victory Red.
Glowin'This '02 Chevy Avalanche is the daily driver for Joel Hyna of Chicago. The truck glows late at night with its Streetglow OPTX seven-color LED underbody kit. Audio comes from a Pioneer system. A billet grille was installed along with chrome doors handle covers.
Beach BabyThis '99 Chevy S-10 Xtreme belongs to Jimmy Reed of West Palm Beach, Florida. An AEM intake, a throttle-body spacer with a custom exhaust, and a Hypertech programmer were installed. For reliable power, an Optima battery was added.
DiverseThis '99 Ford F-150 Lightning was purchased and upgraded by James Scott of Metairie, Louisiana. The truck was given an '02 Navigator front end with a chromed-out motor. The paintjob was changed and the door handles were shaved. The seats have been modified and the center console was removed. The truck is 'bagged and sits on 20-inch wheels in the front and 22-inch wheels in the rear.
Friendly WorkWith help of his friends, Michael Petti of Colonia, New Jersey, was able to modify his '03 Chevy S-10. When the truck was first purchased, Michael didn't plan on changing it or upgrading, but he wanted the truck to stand out, so work began. The truck rolls on 15-inch Z-Racing wheels and was lowered 3 inches in the front and 2 inches in the rear. Power under the hood comes from a 4.3L V-6 with an AEM Brute Force intake.
Sporty FordJoshua Droddy of Silsbee, Texas, is the proud owner of this '02 Ford F-150. Joshua changed the paintjob to give the truck a sporty look and changed the interior to match the outside color.
Baby MobileJason Sceinmeyer of Milledgeville, Georgia, enjoys cleaning up his '98 Chevy Silverado after his infant son causes chaos in the interior. Jason has modified his truck by giving it 20-inch KMC Thunder wheels wrapped in Cooper rubber and an ARE tonneau cover. For extra power underneath, an Airaid intake system, a Poweraid throttle-body spacer, and an Optima battery were installed.
Funky F-150Joseph Negrete of Ft. Worth, Texas, upgraded his '02 Ford F-150 to make the truck as funky as the town he lives in. With 20-inch chrome Kronix wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber, the front dropped 4 inches, and a rearend air suspension, the truck drives smoothly around town. The interior was modified to match the sleek design of the outside, with the dash and door panels replaced with a carbon-fiber finish; a JL audio sound system provides booming sound.
Stolen & FoundMarcus Romero of Fresno, California, had little hope of ever finding his Chevy Silverado after it was stolen. But once his truck was found, he decided to upgrade it as much as he could. The front end was changed to chrome with euro lights and a custom grille. The truck was dropped, and 22-inch wheels were installed along with a booming sound system.
Lime C10When Jason H. of Los Banos, California, first came across this Chevy C10, it was owned by a high-school kid and had a black, rusted paintjob. Jason felt the urge to purchase the truck and give a new stylish look. The first step was to remove the blown-out engine and the ripped seats. After the body's exterior was changed, a new engine was installed, and a new paintjob was laid down. For more roar under the hood, a Flowmaster exhaust was installed.
Ridin' XtremeJosh Stecher of Frankville, New Jersey, has been working on his '03 Chevy S-10 for show and tell. The truck was first given an Alpine audio system with 12-inch subs and an 800-watt amp along with 6-inch speakers. Power under the hood includes a K&N air filter with a Flowmaster exhaust with hidden dump tips. It rides on Boss 20-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber.
Pop's SonomaThis '96 GMC Sonoma belongs to Corey Compton of Knob Lick, Kentucky. Corey received the truck from his grandfather and began to work on it immediately. So far, Corey has installed a stainless hose kit and a Ground Force 3-inch kit. A K&N air filter helps the power under the hood breathe. The truck rolls on 17-inch Center Line wheels with a CheckMate tonneau cover.
Wish Come TrueBeing an avid reader of Truckin', Miguel Grado of Waverly, Missouri, has been inspired to modify his '97 Chevy Tahoe. Miguel replaced the grille and lights and installed 20-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber. The interior was given an entertainment system for a more enjoyable ride.
Fly AwayThis '04 Ford Lighting 5.4L is owned by Damien Doyscher of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Damien added 22-inch wheels and changed the doors to suicide style for a slick upgrade.
Routine...NOTWhen Kevin Smitley of Milton, Florida, first purchased his ,'02 GMC Sierra, he intended to use it as his daily driver. That soon changed after his first upgrade: some 20-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber. Soon after, nerf bars and a K&N air filter were installed. Upcoming plans are to add a dual exhaust.
Texas RideThe proud owner of this '94 Chevy Silverado is Kelly Anderson of Paris, Texas. The truck has been upgraded since its first time in Readers' Rides with a Flowmaster exhaust and a K&N air filter for power. The truck has also become a racing machine on its 17-inch Eagle wheels and Nitto rubber. Kelly has taken his truck to several shows to show off the finished project.
Sweet '54Between Tony Mainord and Jim Stugman of Anderson, Indiana, this '54 Ford F-100 became what it is now. Tony worked on the body and modified the stock frame by chopping 3 inches off the top and shaving the doors. He also gave the rearend a new Ford 9-inch differential. The front suspension has a power Mustang, and the engine is a 429ci. Jim performed the exterior paintjob himself.
Out & AboutThis Ford F-150 belongs to Larry Schow of Torrance, California. The truck has had a Sir Michaels roll pan installed along with a Lightning front bumper and a billet grille. The truck was lowered 2 inches in the front and 4 in the rear. A body kit with pinstriped flames was added with four coats of clear. A polished Novi supercharger and B&M shift kit were also installed.
Outta ControlLuis D. Silva of Great Falls, Montana, first added a Torza tonneau cover to his Dodge Dakota before adding an SS grille and an SS roll pan. The truck rolls on 20-inch Panther wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber. The interior was given a yellow sunrise look and yellow glow stickers were added to set it off. A K&N cold-air intake and an MSD ignition system were installed for better performance.
Dark AngelWhen J.J. Raza of Midland, Texas, first set eyes on his '03 Dodge Ram, it was love at first sight. J.J. decided to change up his stock truck to give it his own personal touch. It rolls on 20-inch wheels on a Belltech drop and features a Flowmaster exhaust. For sound, a Pioneer system was installed. In the near future, J.J. plans on adding a roll pan with 22-inch wheels and an upgraded hood.
Baby GirlThis '00 Ford Explorer belong to Jesus Baldovinos of Chillicothe, Missouri. Jesus gave his SUV a new look to show it off in his home town. He first installed 20-inch Dayton's wheels on Profile rubber. To entertain his friends, three monitors and a Playstation were installed. Future plans include an air filter and rear lights.
Mass AvalancheThis '02 Chevy Avalanche belongs to John Hesdorffor of Concord, Massachusetts. The truck was customized with a 3-inch lowering kit, and under the hood, a K&N kit with a Flowmaster exhaust was installed. It rides on 22-inch wheels and has an entertainment system for his friends to enjoy.
LusciousJohn O. of Dallas, is extremely proud of this '01 Ford Ranger. John tells us that he has installed 20-inch wheels wrapped in Falken rubber. Gold Harley-Davidson emblems were added to give the truck a stylish look. John plans on working on the interior in the future, but for now, he has installed an Alpine audio system.
To the FinishThis '98 Ford F-150 belongs to C.J. Rodine of Kingwood, Texas. The truck rolls around town on 20-inch wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber. C.J. gave the truck an LED underbody kit and a Warlock muffler. Future plans include a shaved tailgate with custom taillights and an air suspension.
Wise InvestmentSammy Bollinger learned that investing money in his '04 Toyota Tacoma would satisfy him more than anything. In the town of Marion, North Carolina, Sammy says most people wouldn't invest time or money in upgrading trucks, but he didn't feel that way. The truck has a dual exhaust with stainless steel tips and 17-inch American Racing wheels wrapped in Summit rubber. For entertainment, an Alpine system was installed.
Quality TimeThis one-of-a-kind truck belongs to 5-year-old Josh Fox of Hodge, Louisiana. The truck was inspired by Josh and built by his father, Steven, when he realized how fond of trucks his son was. The truck has a ride height of 9 feet 3 inches and tires made out of wire spools. It also features a sick 24-inch lift on a lumber suspension. For Steven and Josh, this is the start of a father and son customizing legacy.
Ol' Gal's RideThis '04 Ford F-150 belongs to Sharon Winne of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Sharon appreciates the art of modifying and upgrading her truck. She gave the truck a 6-inch lift and installed 18-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber to start the upgrades. Next, came a Flowmaster exhaust and a brushguard install. She plans on giving the interior some wild changes in the future.
Good IntentionsThis '99 Chevy S-10 belongs to Steve Krcek of Tallahasee, Florida. Like so many people who first purchase a truck, Steve didn't plan on changing it. But that soon changed after he tinted the windows. The truck was then dropped, and a Xenon body kit was installed. The tailgate was shaved, and a roll pan was welded on. It rides on 18-inch KMC wheels wrapped in Kumho rubber.
DualieThis '03 Chevy 3500 is a daily driver for Shari Padrick of Casey, Illinois. The truck has a stainless grille insert with stainless steprails and custom 19-inch rear mudflaps so that the nice paint coat won't get chipped. The truck is used as a daily driver for Shari and her family, and she plans on modifying the interior in the near future.
Fly AwayTyson Wilber of Billings, Montana, purchased this '95 Chevy Silverado from his grandmother. As a working student, Tyson has worked hard to modify as much as he could. The truck has Lambo doors as well as a sunroof and shaved handles. The interior has an Alpine audio system for entertainment.
Slick S-10Corey Bakley of Tylertown, Mississippi, owns this '95 Chevy S-10. The truck was Corey's first project, and he started out by adding a fiberglass roll pan and a DJM 2/3 drop. The paintjob was customized to match his father's truck, and 12-inch Kicker subs add some bump to the sound system.
Love AffairChad Price of Energy, Illinois, and his wife share a love for trucks. Chad owns the '92 Chevy Silverado that roams on 15-inch wheels and features a 3/4 drop. His wife owns the '99 GMC Yukon that rolls on 20-inch wheels wrapped in Eagle Alloy rubber and has a 3-inch drop in the front and a 2-inch drop in the rear. The couple hopes to modify the interiors of both vehicles
Blue Plate SpecialDan Bennet of Gardners, Pennsylvania, owns this '95 Chevy Extended Cab. The truck was molded in the front to give it some unique styling. Soon after, a stepside bed was bought from another truck to continue the stand-out look. The final touch was a dual exhaust. Future modifications are planned for the interior.
High-School SweetheartThis '65 Ford F-100 belongs to Eric Holtz of Minnetonka, Montana. Eric received the truck in high school and has kept it nice and clean ever since. The power under the hood comes from a 302ci with an Edelbrock Performer carburetor and an intake hooked to a Lincoln four-speed automatic. In the future, Eric plans on upgrading the interior.
Mail on TimeJohn Aguilar of Houston, uses his '03 Chevy Silverado whenever his postal truck breaks down. Josh credits Truckin' with many of the ideas for his truck. The truck has a 3/4 drop and rides on 20-inch Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber. A K&N intake was also installed for more power.
S-10 SensationMark Krokos of Plain, Pennsylvania, had to travel some distance to find his Chevy S-10. The truck's exterior has a shaved tailgate and doors. It rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich rubber. The interior was painted red, and the seats and headrests were covered in tweed. For sound and entertainment, a Sony audio system was installed with 12-inch subs, and for games, a Playstation was added.
Lone RangerChris Van Kempen of Roseville, California, is the proud owner of this '00 Ford Ranger. Chris and his brother have both been working on their trucks to upgrade the stock bodies. Chris installed 17-inch Cobra wheels wrapped in Falken rubber. He also added an air suspension and had the truck painted purple with a blue and purple fade. The interior has a 5-inch monitor with a Pioneer audio system for entertainment.
Caddy ShackJ.W. Schultz is the proud owner of this '99 GMC Caddy beauty. The truck has been under construction for a couple of years. Twenty-inch wheels were the first modification the truck received, followed by an '03 Caddy front end. After the body work was done, J.W. worked on the interior and installed a monitor with a PS2 and a complete audio system.

Joey also installed a shaved roll pan. The audio system consists of Audiobahn 12-inch speakers, and the interior has been painted to match the exterior.
N2 The FlameJerod Strong of Fresno, California, owns this '01 Ford F-150. For Jerod, customizing has become an addiction, and he tries to keep up with new products that he can install. Jerod shaved the doors and the tailgate and added a billet bumper insert along with lower grilles and 20-inch Panther wheels.
Dark & Gray Jake Springwater of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, is the proud owner of this '04 Chevy Tahoe. Jake installed 20-inch Boss wheels wrapped in Goodyear rubber along with an air-ride suspension. The truck was given a custom paintjob and a customized grille. The interior was redone in a leopard print, and the floor mats were personalized to match.
Marvel ManiaThis '00 Chevy S-10 was sent in by James McIntyre of Arnold, Pennsylvania. James has put a lot of time and effort into his truck in an attempt to make it feature worthy. The truck has a K&N cold-air intake with a MagnaFlow stainless exhaust for more roar. It rides on 18-inch wheels and has a sick paintjob with flames.
