Lone Tree Chevy
Who: John Gellner
Where: Lone Tree, Colorado
What: '04 Chevy Silverado
Straight out of the woods of Lone Tree, Colorado, comes John Gellner's '04 Silverado. In the famous words of Napoleon Dynamite, "Sweet." But, don't let the mild look fool you. John dropped this Sportside 2 inches in the front and 3 inches in the back. He also bolted on a set of 20-inch Center Line Nova wheels, shod with Goodyear P275/45R20s. For tunes, John installed a Kenwood Excelon DDX 7015 DVD player. Two 10-inch JL Audio subwoofers and a big honkin' Rockford Fosgate 4015 amp mated to a P8002 amp help massage his lower extremities as he cruises the streets of Lone Tree.

Oh, Canada
Who: Graham King
Where: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
What: '91 Chevy S-10
"Don't you go where the huskies go; don't you eat that yellow snow!" That's a quote from one of our favorite Frank Zappa tunes, and we thought it might fit this reader's ride. Graham King of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, told us that he can only drive his '91 S-10 six months out of the year because of the cold, bitter, harsh winters-what a drag. The good news is that long winters haven't dampened Graham's spirits to work on his truck. Two years ago, he bought the little S-10 and began installing a Sir Michaels roll pan and Street Scene mirrors. The 4.3L V-6 engine breathes easier with the help of a throttle-body spacer, a dual exhaust, and a K&N filter. A set of 17-inch Eagles, wrapped by 245/45R17s, get him through the snow when he feels brave enough to venture out in the frosty Canadian winter. Graham, have you thought about investing in some tire chains and a couple of sled dogs?

Who: Wrangler Hammond
Where: Granbury, Texas
What: '64 Chevy Short Wide Bed
We've been to Texas many times and seen bronco busting, cattle wrestling, and even two old ladies fighting over a shopping cart at the local Wal-Mart. What we haven't seen, until now, is this cool '64 Chevy short wide bed, owned by a kid named Wrangler. That's right, Wrangler. Wrangler and his dad built this truck themselves. What started out as an old rusted work truck is now the daily transportation of this Texas teenager.
Wrangler and his dad shaved the emblems, door handles, tailgate chains, and installed a roll pan. We don't know what brand of paint they used, but we do know it's white. The interior features a black leather bench seat and matching door and kick panels. No active teenager can go without tunes, so Wrangler and his dad installed a CD player, playing through Pioneer 6x9s and boosted by a JBL three-channel 600-watt amp and an American Legacy 240-watt amp. Three 10-inch Alpine subs are mounted behind the seat in place of the original gas tank. A well-massaged 283-cid small-block mated with a Muncie four-speed powers this Texas hauler down the road. Wrangler and his dad didn't quit there. They also installed a set of airbags from Chassis Tech and mounted 17-inch ICE wheels wrapped by 275/60 Chaparral SUV HP tires. So, hats off to Wrangler and his dad for creating such a cool truck. Happy trails.

Who: David Tomlinson
Where: Hawthorne, Florida
What: '79 Dodge Centurion
Hawthorne, Florida, is home for this Centurion hauler. David Tomlinson, alias "Big Daddy," built this '79 Dodge to haul just about anything he feels like. This bad boy has a fifth wheel and a bumper-style Reese hitch. David rebuilt the stock 360 V-8 for trouble-free operation, while pulling a heavy load. A Dana rearend and a stack of helper springs keep this vintage Dodge haulin' like a banshee. David didn't forget about the bling. He added some chrome goodies, such as extra lights, stainless steel toolboxes, a turbo wing, bumpers, and wheels. For the ultimate in sound and looks, twin chrome stacks round out Big Daddy's king-of-the-road Dodge. Whether it's haulin' to the races or just haulin' ass, this behemoth does it all. Rock on, Big Daddy.
