While living in Buena Park, California, David Oates learned a few things here and there in regards to giving his truck style. Now living in San Antonio, Texas, he has changed his Ford F-150 from stock to modified. The roar comes from a K&N intake system with a Borla dual exhaust and a 2-1/2-inch lift kit. The truck rolls on 17-inch MKW wheels wrapped in Goodrich rubber. To give his neighbors notice that he's pulling into the neighborhood, he installed an Alpine stereo system.
This '99 Chevy Silverado belongs to its proud owner, Craig Jennings of Killeen, Texas. Craig was inspired by Truckin' to customize his truck while serving in Iraq. With the time he had to spare he installed a Generation 4 bumper with a Speed grille, a Sir Michael's steel roll pan, and Airaid Ram air box. The truck was dropped 3/4 inches with Nitro shocks and a Flowmaster dual exhaust was added. It rolls on 18-inch wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber and a red LED under body kit.
The Other Woman
Stephanie Ables tells us that her rival is not an ordinary woman, but her husband's own '02 Chevy Silverado. Josh Ables of McKinney, Texas, fell in love with his truck when he first bought it in '01. Josh decided to take it in to Killer Ridez to upgrade the truck's look. After two long, agonizing months the truck was finished. It rides on 20-inch chrome Passions wheels and airbags. The front has a billet grille, and the bed pockets were shaved along with the tailgate. Future plans are to upgrade the wheels and the interior.
Back to Black
Suzanne Myers of Advance, North Carolina, is no ordinary woman. Suzanne fell in love with everything that had to do with trucks and modifying them. She got her '90 Chevy Silverado from one of her friends and began working on it. The first step was to strip the paint job and give it a new one. The front has a stainless punch grille, and it rolls on 18-inch wheels wrapped in Scorcher rubber. The interior has a new steering wheel and custom seats.
Two IN One
Josh Nunn of New Tazewell, Tennessee, found his '03 Chevy Silverado in a salvage yard and decided that it was the one for him. His mission to recreate the Silverado began by taking the front end off and installing an Escalade front end conversion kit. The truck was dropped 4/6 inches with a DJM drop kit, and 22-inch Fierro wheels were installed. To top off his truck, Josh installed a custom roll pan and third generation taillights.
An Affair
For James Kiel of Balto, Maryland, owning this '98 Chevy Silverado 1500 has been an opportunity to work with his father on modifying the truck. James first installed a billet grille along with a tonneau cover and a Flowmaster muffler. The truck rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich T/A rubber.
