We see a large number of crazy customs at Truckin', and Vince Renteria's Yukon definitely falls into that cate-gory, but it also takes a slightly subdued, luxury approach. You're probably wondering how a '01 Yukon with Lamborghini-style doors on 27-inch Lexani wheels is subdued, but take a look at the way Vince integrated all of the aspects of his Yukon to create a head-turning luxury cruiser and you'll appreciate what a clean package it really is.

The exterior of Vince's Yukon is a blend of full-size hardware from GM's parts bin and custom pieces that give it a truly unique appeal. The Yukon moved upscale with the addition of Escalade door handles and roof rack along with Denali headlights. From there the true customization began. The windshield cowl was replaced in favor of a smoothed piece; one-piece mirrors were swapped in; Stillen smooth rear vents replaced the factory slotted pieces; and a Precision EZ solid grille filled the shell. Getting into the realm of a truly custom vehicle, Vince had JT Autostyle in Rosemead, California, install the EVO door hinges that turn heads at the valet stand. Not to be outdone, Tony (also at JT Autostyle) designed and installed the EVO 5 rear bumper and side skirts. Jaime at Covina Collision in Covina, California, shaved the tailgate handle; he also applied the pewter paint and understated ghost flames that pop off the Yukon when the light is just right.
To introduce the body kit to the pavement, Aaron Iha of Chassis By Aaron in Covina, California, installed a custom airbag system with Firestone 'bags filled by Thomas compressors and plumbed with 1/2-inch lines and Sarai valves. With the Yukon fully dropped, the 27-inch Lexani Magnums tuck behind the front fenders.
Inside the Yukon, the luxury treatment continues with upholstery by Rogelio's Custom Interior in Baldwin Park, California. Four captain's chairs highlight the interior, wearing Gucci accents on two-tone suede upholstery with flame stitching. The headliner and sun visors get the same treatment minus the flames. The dash, door trim, and Grant steering wheel cover were squirted to match the exterior, and a Nu Image dash cover and billet pedals continue the flamed theme.
When Vince really wants to turn heads with his Yukon, the stereo can make a statement in a big way. Daryl and his crew at Precision Sound in Chino Hills, California, installed an arsenal of audio/video entertainment. A Pioneer AVIC-N1 CD/MP3/Navigation unit is the command center for a battery of Scosche EFX products. Eight EFX 6-1/2-inch mids and separates are scattered throughout the Yukon, both in the doors and the custom built console that runs down the middle of the Yukon. Three three-channel amps, also mounted in the console, power the mids and separates. The enclosure in the rear is where the heavy artillery lies in wait. Powered by a pair of two-channel EFX amps, the six 12-inch EFX subs can unleash a barrage of bass when needed. The Pioneer head unit also sends DVD video to five Accelevision monitors, two 7-inch visor monitors, two 10-inch monitors in the center console, and one 14.1-inch flip-down monitor in the rear.
It took Vince four years to finish his Yukon, and he's got a lot of people to thank for getting it to its finished state: JT Autostyle, Precision Sound, Rogelio's Custom Interior, Magic Automotive Group, Gibson Performance Exhaust, and last but not least, Lexani Wheels.
