Eric Hanna from Owings, Maryland, has been involved with custom vehicles for the last several years. His father had a lowered truck that planted the seed and Eric owned a previous S-10 with a mild lowering job, but the customizing bug didn't really bite until he attended a custom car show in his area. He saw and liked the attention that the drivers got as spectators reacted to their artistry. He decided to give it a try, determined to do most of the work himself. His first attempt at customizing, a custom Astro Van loaded with stereo and custom fiberglass work, is an absolute thing of beauty and still active on the show circuit.

Once the van was complete, however, Eric began looking for a new project. The challenge is the build process and when he came across a partially customized 1999 Chevy S-10 3-Door Extended Cab owned by a friend, Eric didn't hesitate. Mike Granger had already done the body drop and hydro system but was ready to move on. Eric stepped in, determined to take the truck to the next level.
Eric did his own fiberglass work, engine work, bed, and interior but turned to Jesse Pritchard and Stevie from J&J Motorsports in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, for the elaborate PPG paint job. Eric created the design, combining several ideas he found on the Graphic Disorder website. "I wanted everything pointy, nothing round. The mirrors, Rox 20-inch rims, and graphics all share the same theme." Tony from T&S upholstery in Salisbury, Maryland, re-covered the cut-down S-10 seats after Eric chose the colors.
Future plans call for a bigger engine, smoothed firewall, and hopefully a sponsored trip to SEMA.
