Dan New is not new when it comes to minitrucks. He's been steadily minitruckin' since 1990 when he first picked up an issue of Mini Truckin' and fell in love. Since that time, he's had more than five cool rides in and out of his garage. Thanks to his buddy Dan Peterson, this lovely '94 S-Dime made its way into his hands. The truck was definitely not an empty canvas, as it had already been laid out and started.
Dan, however, had bigger plans for his S-10, which he titled Bad News. For starters, he knew he wanted to update the truck and bring it back up to today's standards. It seems the truck had already been 'bagged back in '98, so that 1/4-inch airline just wasn't going to cut it. Every inch of the truck was looked at carefully and thoroughly to ensure the truck was ready to hit the streets again. Being from Oregon means that cruising time is very limited, because of the crappy local weather-East Coast guys aren't the only ones with this kind of problem. Every chance Dan gets, he hits the show circuit with this beauty. Every time we're at the same show, we notice that Dan's truck stands out like a soar thumb, the House of Kolor True Blue pearl really shines in the sun.

Dan really hit a home run with this truck. Keeping the rear bumper makes it look even lower and longer than most Dimes. Being oldskool, Dan wanted to send a shout out to all the guys who have been in the game since the early '90s. This is where Dan got his inspiration, and that's the best kind of news there is.
