First Timer
Ryan Herron hails from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. He is the proud owner of this S-10. You can't tell by looking at it, but this happens to be his very first truck. At the tender age of 17, Ryan built this daily-driven first-generation in a matter of five months. It's been lowered, then he installed new seats, upgraded the engine, and bolted on a set of M3 mirrors. Afterward, Ryan applied a simple and clean two-tone paintjob to complete the smooth exterior look. Meanwhile, inside are a billet flame mirror and some bumps in the form of two amps, which power two 12-inch subs, while six speakers keep his ears ringin'. Ryan assured us he has just gotten started.

Matthew Willis, who's from the streets of Georgia, has been working on his pride and joy for some time. Thanks to inspiration from the magazine, shows he attends, and help from, Matt's Dime is the gem of his block. Matt told us that every single month the only piece of mail he looks forward to is Mini Truckin' magazine. So, maybe we're a little biased at the kissing up, but, nevertheless, Matt's ride is sure to turn heads wherever it drags next. Someday he hopes to make a feature spot, if he can scrape up the time and funds to finish everything. Good luck, Matt. See you at a show near you.

Xtremely Bright
Aaron Roushia is 16 and has been reading Mini Truckin' since he was a boy. Aaron's '02 S-10 Xtreme shows that he's been paying some attention with its custom paintjob, rims, and full custom interior. Aaron is well on his way to building the truck he's dreamed about ever since a young age. All new Kicker components, along with a Kicker Solo 12-inch sub, reside in the cab and wake up his neighbors nightly. Pretty soon, Aaron will be fixing some more things on his truck and then hitting the show circuit strong. Be on the lookout, as it's sure to grab the attention of the judges and bring home some awards.

Mellow Yellow
After battling with speed bumps, potholes, and most freeway interchanges, Alexander Paul decided that his 5/7.5-inch static-dropped Dime was in need of a change. Alex and his truck had been beaten down by almost every road and parking structure they faced. To combat the mean streets, Alex equipped his S-10 with Firestone airbags all around, two Viair 380 compressors, a 12-gallon tank, and new KP Components gauges. Clean and classic 18-inch chrome Irocs add to the aggressive appearance of this now mellowed Dime. Next time Alex throws sparks while driving his truck, it will be intentional. So, consider this a warning! Alex will be moving to Arizona soon. If you see this truck cruising in your 'hood, take notice and plenty of notes.
Editor's Note: Getting your truck into Ridin' Around is a snap-of the camera, that is. All it takes is a couple of good-quality photos of your ride that are in focus and well lit. Due to the volume of mail we receive, we regret that we cannot return photographs. Please shoot and send photos of your truck only (no people, pets, Polaroids, or printouts) to: Mini Truckin' magazine, Ridin' Around, 2400 E. Katella Ave., Ste. 700, Anaheim, CA 92806. It is important that you include a detailed description of the modifications you have made to your truck, including any interesting stories behind it. This can include information about the buildup or any special history on the truck.
