Carved Dime
John Carvalho has been carving on his canvas, the bright red '00 S-10, for the past few years. John bought his truck brand new off the lot in 2000, as an Xtreme model. But after a few years and a few mistakes, John is proud to call this clean-carved Dime his own. He has learned many lessons along the way, and knows the ins and outs of his entire truck because of it. Now, John can proudly cruise his daily-driven Dime, laid out on 20s, and if something goes wrong, he has the know-how to fix it. John assured us the body-drop and 22s are on their way, along with some paint, touch ups, and graphics. He would also like to thank Hank and the staff at Body By Hank, Eli at Air Concepts, Tim at SBC, Dave at Toriumi's Auto Repair, and Roger and Steve for the electrical handy work. John also wanted to give a special thanks to his girl, Heather, and his buddy, Mario, for keeping him focused on the project, along with all his friends and family for putting up with the madness.

She's A Keeper
Randy Brown picked up this '89 S-10 completely stock from a local car lot. Two weeks later, Randy stripped it down at his autobody class and spent the next four months fixing it up. He shaved miscellaneous pieces and added a smooth Grant Kustoms roll pan. The taillights and corner lights were smoked, then a custom-mixed silver was applied to the entire body for that super-slick look. Keeping it mild, Randy opted for a staticdrop over a set of 15-inch stock '97 S-10 wheels. As his daily, Randy did a killer job and assured us many more builds are to come.

Keepin' It Real
At the ripe age of 65 years old, Doug Warren of Cullman, Alabama, owns a piece of true minitruck history. He is the second owner of this '83 Datsun 720. According to his records, this was the first year of Nissan badging and trim. While there were only 650 produced, only 400 shipped to the U.S. Doug has kept the truck mostly stock with an original factory color paintjob, some restored upholstery, a bed cover, and some aftermarket wheels. There's 113,356 original miles on it, and Doug does drive it, clocking around 2,000 miles a year. This little time capsule is the perfect example of a clean and classy piece of history. Take good care of her, Doug, and keep on truckin'!

Hawaii's Finest
Kevin and Malia Souza are from Pahoa, Hawaii, and as you can imagine, there aren't many fixed-up minitrucks driving around. Kevin bought this '90 Toyota Pickup truck seven years ago with basic plans just to fix it up and drive it. But, one problem after another snowballed until Kevin completely rebuilt the truck from the ground up. It's 'bagged, painted, rimmed up, and sports a really tricked-out interior. The entire rebuild was done by Kevin with help from a few close friends and his wife. He plans to continue driving the Toyota with many years of life added to the once-battered Toyota.
