1996 Nissan D21 - Built By Me - Construction Zone Special

For this year's Construction Zone Special, we decided to pay homage to some of the coolest garage-built rides around by giving them more than just a single page of glory! Check out what some of the coolest under-construction rides look like from around the world, and use this as motivation to go cut on your own garage-built rides. Maybe we'll see your ride in these very pages soon enough.

Ride: '96 Nissan D21
Hometown: Kamisato, Saitama, Japan
Wheels/Tires: 20x8-inch Boyd Coddington Timeless 6 with Nitto Tire Neo Gen 225/30zR20s
Suspension/Chassis: Custom-made tube arms narrowed 1 inch, rear axle was also narrowed 2 inches on each side, back-halved, Wilwood four-piston front brake calipers, and two Air-Zenith pumps
Body Modifications: Shaved everything, 3-inch body-drop, suicide front hood operated with electric cylinders, Toyota bumper with Tacoma valance, 4WD fenders, widened bed to match front fenders with a 3-inch stretched overhang, suicide driver side door, ragtop, custom-made sheetmetal bed floor that opens with air cylinder, license plate bracket that rises with air cylinder
Interior: Custom-made center console with 8-inch Rockford Fosgate subwoofer, Recaro seats, and the dashboard was wrapped in tweed
Miscellaneous: All mods done by owner
