There is something about the bodylines of the second generation S-10 that makes them so popular with consumers. Unfortunately, with so many S-10s out there, it makes it that much harder to build one that really stands out. This was the hurdle that stood before Chris Brown. His reason for building this truck to begin with was, it looks cool. Therefore, the odyssey began to build a dime that would not be mistaken at the shows as just another S-10.
Chris had big plans for his S-10. He was looking for the paint to be clean and simple, and wanted the body mods to speak for themselves. First task were the 'bags and body-drop. From there, they moved on to the body. Chris works long hours at a body shop, so this meant many extra hours after work, and extremely long days. The first thing that you notice walking up to the truck is the Caddy front clip. In order to get it to fit properly it had to be narrowed and sectioned. "It was tough to bring all the pieces together," said Chris. Nevertheless, they did it. This undertaking scored Chris a lot of doubt from his peers. When it was finished, not only did it look like it came from the factory, but it also left Chris with the biggest feeling of accomplishment.

Chris really made a statement with this truck, from the subtle modifications, all the way to, holy crap, when did Chevy come out with a Caddy style S-10? Every chance Chris gets, he hits the show circuit with this beauty. These days, the truck can be seen cruising the streets of Crossville, Tennessee, in style. Don't be surprised if the next time you see him, he's dragging right by you.
