After many years of building various mini and fullsize trucks, Steven Cecil wanted to build something that no one would soon forget. Five years, a small fortune, some good times, a two-year hiatus, and Steven emerged with one of the cleanest '92 S-10s around.
Steven has been involved in this sport in one way or another for the past 20 years. He began amassing feature fame in '96 with the publication of his Dime in Truckin' and Sport Truck magazines. Tapping into the formula that produced this show-winning '92 S-10, Steven once again created a masterpiece that demands our attention.
You don't build the caliber of vehicles that Steven did overnight, and the attention to detail that is present in his truck isn't something that comes easily. This time around, it took Steven all of about five years to rebuild the truck, and more than two years to find the motivation to finish it after he started it. This truck tops his previous rides with details such as the graphic paintwork and staggered billet wheels. Where this truck stands out is in the creature comforts of the truck. Ditching the old and worn out tweed coverings, Steven replaced them and wrapped everything in the hides of the Ostrich and bovine. To put the exclamation point on the interior are the billet interior accents that Steven installed.
For a look into the making of Steven's newest creation, check out the details in the Lowdown portion of this story. Otherwise, just stare at the photos for a while in awe, like we do.
