To get your truck featured in Readers' Rides, email a high-resolution photo of your truck to Send in a front 3/4 or profile shot of your truck, and make sure it's big enough. For a digital file, try to make it at least 1MB. Don't use your cell phone! We print at a much higher resolution than a website, which means that sending links to photos posted online won't work. Also, please make sure that the whole truck is in the frame, don't cutoff the front or back of the truck. Remember, this is your pride and joy. Do your best to make your truck look it's best. Also, make sure to include plenty of information about you and your truck. The more information, the better the article. If you want to get your ride noticed by posting it on our website, go to Upload up to 20 photos of your vehicle, along with detailed descriptions.
A Crawford Custom
This '09 GMC Sierra 2500 belongs to Robin Crawford of Lincoln, Maine. Robin bought this truck as his very first vehicle and decided that it should look as good as possible. He started making his baby look really nice by adding chrome door handles, chrome tailgate handle, and a chrome antenna. For lighting, Robin went with clear LED cab lights, clear LED taillights, and a clear LED third brake light. The bed caps, mirror, and rocker panels have all been covered in chrome as well. For rolling stock, Robin went with 17x8.5-inch American Racing Mace wheels covered in Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTZs. Robin has also upgraded the exhaust and added blue LED light bars all the way around the underside of his truck. For a better stance, Robin added a 2-inch torsion bar ReadyLIFT up front and 2-inch blocks in the rear.

All of you Blue Oval fans should appreciate this one. This is Rod Guyton's 2003 F-250. Rod has some pretty serious money invested in this beast. First off, it sits high on a 3.5-inch Pro Comp lift, 315/75R16 BF Goodrich Mud IIs and Pro Comp 6001 wheels. A SnugTop camper shell, a truck vault, Hella Pencil Beam foglights, Go Rhino chrome brush guard, Bushwhacker fender flares, and a billet front grille finish off the exterior styling. Under the hood, there is a Hypertech tuner, Airaid intake system, and set of Gibson headers and a Gibson exhaust. Other modifications to this truck include a set of Wet Okole Advantage 4 Camo seat covers, Mag-Hytec diff and transmission covers, on-board air compressor, and Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks. For beats, Rod installed an Alpine head unit, two Alpine amps, and Alpine 10-inch sub, four Alpine 5x7-inch speakers, and an Alpine 10-inch flipdown monitor.

Killer Cheyenne
One of our many Canadian readers sent us pictures of his 1995 Chevy Cheyenne. Colin Andrews from Peterborough, Ontario, has owned it for about five years now and is very pleased with his truck. It is painted black with silver flake in the clear and ghost flames from front to middle of the cab. It is lowered with a 3/4 Belltech drop kit. Other exterior mods include a 442-style fiberglass hood, roll pan, 20-inch Euro wheels, halo headlights, and smoked taillights. The interior has a Clarion 7-inch touch screen, four Alpine 6-inch speakers, and two Alpine Type S 10-inch subs. All of the interior lighting has been converted to blue LEDs, the knobs are billet, there are several painted parts, and the seats are out of an Audi A4. Under the hood is a 4.3L V-6 for now but will soon be replaced with a 454.

Green Monster
Stephanie Bockhorn owns this '03 Dodge Ram 1500. It features a K&N intake system, custom exhaust that runs under the rocker panels, and a throttle-body spacer to add performance. The exterior has a one-off paint scheme, Toyo Proxes 305/45R22 tires mounted on Incubus Alloy 22s, along with aftermarket HIDs, and a sprayed-in bedliner. The interior is fairly stock except for a Jensen DVD/iPod head unit. In the future, Stephanie wants to lift it and upgrade the interior.

What do these two trucks have in common? They are the same truck. Well, mostly the same. The truck is a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 LTZ 4x4. It was on a new car lot in Eastern Arkansas when it was taken for a ride in a tornado. Kevin Shook bought it and began the painstaking process of bringing it back to life. The first step was the cleanup. After removing every body panel except for the tailgate, Kevin, owner of Jade Auto Body, replaced them with factory stampings. He then added a ReadyLIFT 2-inch leveling kit, a Flowmaster dual exhaust, and 18x9-inch Eagle Alloy wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson MTZ tires.

Kevin also added a massive cowl-induction hood, billet grille, and Bush Whacker fender flares. To spruce up the exterior even more, he added Westin nerf bars, chrome door handles, chrome mirrors, and a chrome tailgate handle cover. After 285 hours of bodywork, Kevin had the truck coated in several coats of PPG's Vibrance Aquamarine for a truly spectacular finish.

Tukn 4S
Brett Ross, of Calvert City, Kentucky, is the proud owner of this 2000 Chevy Silverado. This is his daily and it is one hell of a truck. After upgrading the suspension to a KP cantilever setup with a Watt's link in the rear along with a set of McGaughy's 2-inch drop spindles and Dallas Hotrod Parts upper and lower A-arms up front, this sick Silvy now lays frame on its 24-inch Milanni Kool Whips and 275/30R24 Kumho Ecsta ASX tires. In order for it to lay frame it also had to be tubbed front and rear and have a notch cut into the frame. To make the body look really nice, Brett added a 2002 HD front clip and Escalade door handles, shaved the tailgate, molded in a rollpan, and candied the taillights. Inside there is a smoothed and painted dash, Escalade door handles, and it is fully covered in Dynamat to reduce road noise.

Inside, David has added an Alpine head unit, Kicker components in the front and Kicker coaxials in the rear, two Arc Audio amps, and two RE Audio 10-inch subs.
