If you know Big Rob personally, then you know the "big" part is much more than just a nickname—he really is a sizable dude. He does have a big boy Chevy dualie project in the works to match his 6'4", 335lb stature, but he's been cooking up a smaller side dish that he just finished not too long ago.
The Hardbody on these pages has been a two-year work in progress, but when we asked Rob why he chose to finish his mini before his dualie, he responded, "I've been into minitrucks since boomerang antennas, and I've always loved Nissans—the bodyline is just sexy."
Being a rebuild, the truck's reincarnation wasn't too bad of a process according to Rob. "During the final days when everything was starting to come together, friends stopped by to help without me even asking. That's how you know who your real pals are."

Now that this build is officially in the books, Rob took a second to tell us a little more behind his motivation.
"I built the Nissan my way, not by trendy ideas, and I wouldn't change a thing about it. It's not about trophies or being able to say ‘My truck is better than yours.' This whole thing is about good times, good friends, and custom trucks."
And believe me, you don't want to find yourself in disagreement with big, bad Rob.
