One Owner Goes All Out On This Super Duty

For the majority of us, buying a new truck is a big decision. After bringing the truck home, we swear up and down that we won’t do anything to it. That is a relatively easy decision to make for the mainstream, especially with a $400-$600 truck payment. But for those of us who eat, sleep, and breathe custom trucks, the thought of having a badass truck outweighs the thought of messing with a brand-new truck. Chance Kamp of Richmond, Texas, is one of those people. Chance, the owner of All Out Offroad in Richmond, bought a 2011 Ford F-250 4x4 Super Duty in January of 2011, and it didn’t take him and his team long to start building what would become a badass custom truck.
After enjoying his completely stock truck for a few months, Chance decided it was time for a change. We don’t mean a leveling kit and an intake either. We’re talking full tear down and rebuild. To start the process, Chance pulled off the factory suspension components and had Mike Benedict of All Out Offroad, start on a custom 16-inch lift. Before anything went on the truck though, the frame was powdercoated blue. The front rides on a fabricated four-link with remote-reservoir Fox 3.0 coilovers. Out back, a matching four-link was built with matching Fox coilovers. A Firestone helper ’bag system was installed to give Chance some extra support when towing or hauling cargo. Since the truck is so tall and the suspension is on full display, Chance had all of the suspension components either powdercoated or chromed before being installed. For rolling stock, Chance bolted on a set of RBP 24x12 Revolver wheels wrapped in 40x15R24 Interco SS-M16 tires.

Chance wanted his Super Duty to look different than any other lifted Super Duty in Texas. To accomplish this goal, he had the body stripped and prepped for paint. The top half was drenched in House of Kolor True Blue paint and the bottom is factory white. A graphic consisting of House of Kolor Tangelo Orange paint separates the top and bottom halves. With the paint dry, a polished mesh RBP grille was installed, Bestop power steps were bolted to the rocker panels, and a set of Recon cab lights were installed on the roof. Chance was pleased with the exterior, but he now needed to turn his attention toward the interior.

Inside the crew cab doors, Chance had the interior completely removed. Most of the plastic pieces were painted either blue or orange to match the exterior. A Passport radar detector was taken apart and mounted behind the dash. The screen was then molded into the center of the dash. An H&S programmer was molded into the dash above the A/C vent on the driver side. In the back seat, a custom sub box was built into the back wall and a motorized amp rack was built and installed under the seat. A Kenwood head unit, JL Audio amps, Hertz speakers, and two 10-inch Rockford subs give Chance a premium audio system.

Coming from the factory with a stout 400 hp and 800 lb-ft of torque meant that Chance only needed to make minimal upgrades under the hood. These included an aFe intake, 5-inch Flo-Pro exhaust, and several painted plastics for added show value.
Tearing down and rebuilding a brand new truck took cajones and we appreciate Chance for going all out on this build. Chance wanted to thank his sponsors on the build and the guys at his shop for busting their humps on his truck.
