2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty - Like No Other
This Maroon 2012 F-250 Super Duty Is Unique .
You've been there. Heck, we've all been there. You just signed your name countless times on papers you didn't read. You haggled with the finance guy when he tried to hit you with the backend add-ons. Now you're finally done. You stand up, shake hands, and take ownership of your brand-new truck. Man, what an awesome feeling, right? You've been daydreaming about it for months, and it's finally here. You leave the lot, and before you make it home, you see three trucks exactly like the one you just bought. What do you do? If you're like Anthony Olivo, you do something about it.
As Anthony resides in the South Texas town of Alice, his '12 F-250 Super Duty was easily lost in the crowd. Sure, it was a nice truck, but at the end of the day it was just another four-wheel-drive King Ranch. With the truck having less than 500 miles on it, Anthony decided he needed to separate it from the rest. He made the trip to Maximum Altitude Motorsports in San Antonio and began brainstorming with its team. After plenty of discussion, a checklist was finalized and the work began. Oh, did we forget to mention that Anthony needed it done in 14 days? Challenge accepted!

The first order of business was getting the truck higher off the ground. This was accomplished by taking a Pure Performance 8-inch lift and modifying it to give the truck a bump to 14 inches. A Pure Performance four-link setup, along with coilovers and Pro Comp steering stabilizers, was installed to give Anthony a great ride whether he's driving the backroads of the oilfields or cruising the highway headed to the beach for some R&R.
The sheer size of this truck and the amount of steel rolling down the road is enough to make you snap your neck as you try to grab a second look. Upon closer inspection, you'll be drawn to a handful of other accessories and custom painted details by TC Kustomz in San Antonio. Protecting the smoked headlights from unwanted guests are the uprights of the Road Armor Titan II front bumper. As you continue past the Warn lights, you'll find an M1 mesh grille installed. The paint-matched Bushwacker fender flares protect everything the 22x12 Fuel Nutz wheels and 40x15.5x22 Toyo Open Country tires can throw at them. The back end of the truck is protected by a paint-matched Road Armor Stealth bumper.
The 6.7L Power Stroke has been treated to an AFE Power Stage 2 air intake system along with a Flo-Pro 5-inch polished turbo-back exhaust finalized with an MBRP Performance 5-inch tip to give the truck an attention-commanding exhaust note. Anthony can program the truck on the go, thanks to the dash-mounted H&S Performance Mini Maxx.
"Without the guys at Maximum Altitude and support from friends and family, the truck would still be just a truck," Anthony says. "Now it's my truck." Needless to say, he was thrilled with the outcome of the build. And don't think the truck is too pretty to be used. It's Anthony's primary vehicle. If you ever find yourself in the rough and tough oilfields of South Texas, you'll likely see it covered in mud and grime just like the other trucks at the job site. Regardless, there's no mistaking whose truck it is.
