Behind The Scenes Of Featured Trucks - May 2014
Before The Feature
This page is dedicated to humble beginnings. These photos and stories are taken and told by the owners/builders of trucks featured in this issue. Most date back years ago and are glimpses of a time when there wasn’t an end in sight.
“I had to search through an old computer to find these photos, they are that old. I’m glad I found them though, because this truck has been a part of my life for so long. It’s cool to look back at the build phase.”
"I’m sure this is not the last time this truck will be done. Maybe I’ll keep it as-is and just drive the hell out it. I haven’t decided yet."

“Here’s a look at the handmade sheetmetal engine bay, the 112-piece aluminum grille being finished up after over 200 hours of design and fab work, and the all-metal bed with Lexan pocket and battery compartments in primer. I had planned to leave a spot in the dash for my grandfather’s old workshop clock early in the build.
