Simon Najera of Enid, Oklahoma, bought his first lifted truck at the ripe old age of 16. As an avid dirt bike rider, he used his truck to haul his bikes to the Little Sahara sand dunes nearby. As the years passed, Simon wanted a new truck with more space, so he stepped up to an 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab. However, the Ram's 6.25-foot bed wasn't quite long enough for his bikes, leading to the decision to stretch this already lengthy truck.
Precision Body Lines in Salt Lake City, Utah, came up with a solution for the shortbed Dodge, cutting and extending the frame, then swapping out the short-box for an 8-foot box. This provided room not only for Simon's Honda 450 but also a pair of aggressive 8-inch MBRP stacks. The truck was then fitted with an 8-inch Pro Comp lift kit, 22x14-inch Fuel wheels, and 35-inch Nitto mud tires, yielding an aggressive stance. Bushwacker flares, an SRT hood, and an N-Fab prerunner lightbar add to the truck's imposing nature, and a number of bolt-on engine mods give the 5.9L Cummins a throaty growl. The Ram was also upgraded with high-end audio gear from Kenwood, JL Audio, and Kicker to make long trips more enjoyable. Some might call this stretched Ram 2500 Mega Cab overkill, but Simon enjoys driving it every day.
